Hello, we are the Howell Clan serving in Ireland. David and Tricia are both graduates of Barclay College. Before coming to Ireland, we had been in ministry for 18 years together, serving in churches in KS., VA., IA., and OR. We have two amazing children who are such a blessing to us and those around us. We currently live in Wicklow Town and are involved in church planting and evangelism.

“The ache and melancholy is uniquely Irish.” This quote by U2 singer Bono in 1999 seems to capture the Irish heart. The history of this beautiful country is filled with devastation and despair, war and famine, oppression and occupation. It is a story filled with thousands of years of heartache. People grow up with the deep understanding of sorrow and grief with little hope. Even their once strong faith has been lost over time. According to Operation World, Ireland has an evangelical population of around 1.6%, which is the lowest percentage of any country in the English-speaking world. Since we arrived in Ireland in 2008, our purpose has been to share the message of grace, hope, and peace with a people that we now consider our friends. We desire to create a place to worship where anyone can come, no matter what “baggage” they bring, and seek after the heart of a loving Father. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us to see Ireland changed from a nation with a history of pain and sorrow to a future of hope and joy?
