Brad began serving in Rwanda in February 2006. In his first term God empowered him to learn Kinyarwanda, build relationships with Rwandans, and discover through research some effects of the culture on Rwandan Christianity. The Lord has led Brad and Chelsea to join their lives and gifts together in marriage, which will enable them to serve Him and His Church more effectively. Chelsea is studying the language of Kinyarwanda and Rwandan culture.

Ministry  Brad and Chelsea are called to work with and support the leaders of the Evangelical Friends Church of Rwanda. Their passion and focus is discipleship that seeks to bring relationship with Jesus and His Lordship into every aspect of life (spiritual, physical, and relational).  Brad is working on teams in three communities with the ministry of Discipling for Development, and is helping to coach the team in a fourth community. Discipling for Development is a ministry in which we are working in communities to bring whole-life discipleship; our desire is to see God's kingdom come and His will be done in these communities and beyond as it is in heaven.

Life Verse: John 15:5 (NIV) "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

• For God to empower a multiplying, whole-life, discipleship movement in the Evangelical Friends Church of Rwanda that brings depth and many new followers of Jesus!
• For the Lord to stir up and call out Rwandans to be missionaries around the world.
