Christina, from Northwest Yearly Meeting, is coordinating the English teaching program in Rwanda Friends Church's four secondary and four primary schools. This is essential as the country is shifting from French to English as the language of education.

Ministry  The purpose of the English teaching program in Rwanda is to help teachers in the Rwandan Friends Schools become proficient in speaking, hearing, reading and writing English.  In the process, we want to give them the skills they need to continue learning English even after we’re gone. We also want to enable them to improve their methods and skills as teachers.
