Ministry In October of 2000, John and Sangi Vanlal and Mrs. Juna Tamang visited Bhutan for their first missionary trip. Two months later they started the Evangelical Friends ministry with only two people, Rupak and Permila Tamang. In the year 2005, because of the growing work, Rupak and Permila gave up their jobs and started full-time ministry for God’s kingdom in Bhutan. By January 2006 they were adopted officially as full-time workers by EFM. Rupak and Permila are recognized as ministers of the gospel by the Evangelical Friends Church, Bhutan.
